Position Overview

Nani's Esthetics and Laser Center Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. This is a permanent position offering between 30 to 40 hours of work per week.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in massage therapy or therapeutic massage.
Work Environment
  • Willingness to relocate is essential.
  • Potential work settings include hospitals, medical facilities, clinics, and spas.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans for clients.
  • Utilize various massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation methods, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations.
  • Apply targeted pressure to specific areas of the body to alleviate discomfort.
  • Conduct assessments of clients through range of motion and muscle testing to propose tailored treatment plans.
  • Clearly explain procedures, associated risks, and benefits to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments administered.
  • Perform massage and knead muscles and soft tissues to promote relaxation and healing.
Certifications and Licenses

Certification from a recognized provincial or territorial association for massage therapists is required.

Safety and Security

A criminal record check will be necessary for this position.

Transportation Requirements

Applicants must have their own means of transportation.
