About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Engineer to join our team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our Transportation & Infrastructure team, you will work closely with our Manager of Traffic & Transportation on diverse projects, including traffic data collection and analysis, intersection and roundabout design, active transportation planning, and public engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and gather data to support project development
  • Assist in preparing comprehensive reports and presentations
  • Develop technical drawings and details for transportation infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with the Field Construction Team to perform site construction review duties
  • Provide technical support and assistance in executing project tasks
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
  • Registration with the provincial engineering association
  • 0-4 years of industry-related experience
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and the MS Office Suite
  • Familiarity with municipal/transportation design standards and specifications
