Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Education Program Coordinator. This is a summer student position that will provide support to our Program Manager in the development and implementation of programs that increase awareness and education of welding to encourage more individuals to explore careers in welding and other skilled trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and disseminate all internal and external materials related to program planning and delivery.
- Liaise with host organizations to collect signed documentation and ensure smooth program execution.
- Assist with program marketing and promotion activities, including research and identification of potential opportunities to deliver CWBWF programs.
- Enter program data into various databases using CRM and Microsoft Office suite, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Act as CWBWF representative contact during program delivery and events, coordinating arrangements with host organizations as needed.
- Oversee program delivery at each location, supporting host organizations as required.
- Compile program statistics and reports, making recommendations for quality improvement.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in welding, welding technology, or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office/Teams and CRM.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends, as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year customer service experience, plus project management experience or knowledge.
- Bilingualism in English and French.
- Project management experience or related courses.
- Experience in database management systems.
- Knowledge of skilled trades, including apprenticeship.
