- Work Environment: Fast-paced food service setting, including fast food outlets and concessions.
- Operational Duties: Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules, supervise food preparation staff, and ensure compliance with sanitation and safety protocols.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and oversee food service personnel, including servers and kitchen helpers.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that food and service adhere to quality control standards and address any customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare reports as needed.
- Food Preparation Coordination: Prepare food order summaries for the chef and supervise the assembly of trays.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules for the team to ensure smooth operations.
This position involves supervising a team of 3-4 individuals, including:
- Food and beverage servers
- Food service counter attendants and food preparers
- Kitchen and food service helpers
The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage pressure effectively, and perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Physical demands include bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
