CNH Industrial is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing department, ensuring that all production processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Production Oversight: Supervise and direct hourly employees in the production of parts, components, and finished products to meet established efficiency targets.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet established quality goals and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
- Inventory Management: Maintain required levels of inventory and develop and implement corrective action plans when required.
- Continuous Improvement: Perform continuous improvement activities aimed at improving safety, efficiency, quality, and costs.
- Employee Relations: Develop and maintain positive employee relations within the guidelines of company policy.
- Human Resources: Administer human resource activities such as employee selection, pay administration, employee counseling, training, performance reviews, discipline for hourly employees, and the administration of policies and agreements.
- Maintenance and Repair: Monitor and coordinate the maintenance of equipment in the department to meet work schedule.
- Process Improvement: Implement company strategies and process changes at the operational level of the organization.
- Leadership: Lead and direct Kaizen's and Continuous Improvement projects.
- Education: Bachelor's degree, or an Associates degree plus three (3) years' experience in Supervising/Manufacturing, or High School diploma and five (5) years' experience in Supervising/Manufacturing.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience supervisory/leadership in manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing process flow and systems, experience in performing MIG welding and Robotic Welding, multi-functional experience (Quality, Materials, Engineering, Human Resources, Safety), experience participating and leading continuous improvement activities, and proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
