About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at James Toyota. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building systems and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building Systems Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Contractor Management: Coordinate with external contractors for repairs and maintenance of the building, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Appliance Repair: Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Safety and Security: Conduct regular safety and security checks to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Physical Labor: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed to support the smooth operation of the building.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair to maintain the building's appearance and integrity.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, requiring strong initiative and judgment.
  • Physical Demands: Perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects, requiring good physical fitness and stamina.

Working Conditions and Benefits
