Job Summary:

OCAD University is seeking a qualified Sessional Instructor to teach Atelier II: Collaboration in the Faculty of Arts & Science. The successful candidate will have a terminal degree in art, design or a relevant discipline and/or equivalent professional/practical experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach and deliver course content, including lectures, critiques, and grading
  • Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with industry partners and faculty to deepen student learning
  • Meet academic and curricular requirements and deadlines
Qualifications:
  • Terminal degree in art, design or a relevant discipline
  • Equivalent professional/practical experience
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and experience promoting a respectful and inclusive work and learning environment
Terms of Employment:

Sessional appointments are fixed-term annual contracts. Sessional compensation includes a per-course pay scale with salary level of $6, per 0.5 credit course) plus 7% in lieu of benefits and vacation pay, per the provisions of the Employment Standards Act.
