About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technologist to join our team at TalentSphere Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to the coordination and preparation of complete working drawing packages and construction documents in Revit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate designs and deliverables to ensure they meet company and client standards
  • Provide input to proposals and designs, using problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges
  • Assist with interpreting and implementing zoning by-laws and other applicable regulations
  • Produce rendered visualization material, including plans and elevations, when required
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals
  • Attend project team meetings and visit job sites to gather essential data for the design and implementation of projects
Requirements
  • Architectural Technology Diploma/Certification
  • Between 2+ years' experience as an Architectural Technologist in an Architecture or design firm, with at least 2 years working with the national building code in Canada
  • Experience working with Revit is essential
  • Experience working with commercial, institutional, public, and mixed-use projects is preferable
  • High attention to detail, accurate, and precise worker
  • Knowledge of AB local by-laws and building codes an asset
  • Good knowledge of construction principles and building envelope
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively work with clients and project teams
  • Leadership potential an asset
