We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at LifeLabs. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for conducting a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and interpret laboratory tests to ensure accurate and timely results.
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
- Identify and report any incidents or non-conformities, and participate in the development of corrective action plans.
- College diploma or university degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer skills and knowledge of laboratory information systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
