About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Audit and Accounting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support on audit and review engagements, as well as various other client service engagements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute fieldwork for audit and review engagements, including completion of planning documents and scheduling of planning meetings.
  • Devise engagement programs, including risk analysis, materiality calculations, and procedures.
  • Customize client correspondence, including management representation letters and legal letters.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of clients' businesses and respond promptly to client needs.
  • Prepare and review corporate tax returns and related checklists.
  • Recognize additional tax filings as required.
  • Maintain knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and updates.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant public accounting or consulting experience.
  • Working towards a CPA designation.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting software, including Caseware/Caseview, Tax Prep, and MS Excel.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork skills, trustworthiness, accountability, proactivity, and a positive work attitude.
  • Strong understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles.
  • Proven people management, relationship building, and leadership skills.
