About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Redcliff Bottle Depot. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Journal Entry Preparation: Prepare and post journal entries to record financial transactions.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, and QuickBooks.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
