In this pivotal role, you will oversee, refine, and coordinate scheduled outages, deliver technical assistance to Control Center Operations, facilitate the safe initiation of new projects, and spearhead enhancement initiatives. A degree in Engineering, coupled with at least 7 years of relevant experience and a P.Eng designation, is essential for this position. The successful candidate will exhibit exceptional communication abilities, a deep understanding of pipeline hydraulics, and the capacity to function autonomously as a fully qualified professional engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer technical guidance and support to the Control Center for pipeline and terminal operations.
  • Direct and optimize system outages in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Recognize and alleviate process safety hazards during outage planning.
  • Ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of pipelines.
  • Maintain a comprehensive technical knowledge base for managing operational issues.
  • Assist in the secure startup and integration of new assets.
  • Propose and execute modifications for enhanced safety, compliance, and cost efficiency.
  • Complete various background checks, including criminal history and company-sponsored medical and drug assessments.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based environment with occasional travel and field assessments.
  • Participate in on-call rotations every few weeks.
