Job Summary

Pearl Specialist Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team as a Mental Health Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Treat Mental Health Conditions: Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans to address a range of mental health conditions, including psychiatric disorders and diseases.
  • Prescribe and Administer Medication: Prescribe and administer medication as necessary to support patient recovery and well-being.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
  • Provide Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote mental health and well-being.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a psychiatric setting is preferred.
  • Certifications: Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities and certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada is required.
