Senior Accounts Payable Clerk Job Description

Fed Finance is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. As a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Classify and process invoices, purchase orders, and receipts
  • Assemble and verify payment documents
  • Save and track service invoices for future processing
  • Prepare and disburse payments
  • Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure efficient processing
  • Verify accuracy of payment information
  • Classify and organize departmental documents
  • Record and pay invoices
  • Update tracking files and maintain internal control
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal departments regarding payments
  • Coordinate bank transfers and daily deposits
Requirements:
  • Diploma of college studies (DEC) in accounting or related field
  • Five years of experience in financial accounting
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams)
  • Bilingualism (oral and written English) is essential
