Key Responsibilities:- Provide Nursing Care: Deliver exceptional nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
- Assess and Plan Care: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Implement and Evaluate Care: Implement care plans and evaluate their effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
- Manage Medications and Supplies: Safely manage medications, narcotics, and other supplies, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve shared goals.
- Document Resident Information: Accurately and thoroughly document resident information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic computer proficiency.
- Clearance: Medical Clearance, including TB tests, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.
