Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the procurement of inventory for Babcock's rotary wing operations, focusing on specialized and non-specialized aviation components necessary for maintaining AW 169 aircraft.
- Source parts and materials in compliance with the Maintenance Policy Manual, ensuring proper documentation and collaboration with certified Aircraft Maintenance Organizations (AMOs).
- Build and manage relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance and addressing any issues that arise.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding repair timelines and parts delivery, while keeping track of inventory levels.
- Initiate and manage the inclusion of new suppliers in the Authorized Supplier List.
- Create Purchase and Repair Orders using the Maintenance Tracking Software.
- Work closely with the Procurement team to generate Industrial and Financial System Purchase Orders.
- Maintain strong communication with Aviation customers and stakeholders.
- Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators related to parts and materials.
- Report safety hazards or concerns through the Safety Management System.
- Participate in required training sessions, including Human Factors and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree/diploma in a relevant field is an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Aviation industry, with knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations.
- Experience in Aviation Stores and Purchasing.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Eligibility for a Reliability Clearance.
