Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards.
  • Assist customers with processing transactions through the self-service area, providing clear instructions and support as needed.
  • Promote company-sponsored programs and services, such as credit card services and product protection initiatives.
  • Monitor customer activity and provide assistance when needed, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
  • Respond to Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) alarms and complete necessary documentation.
  • Communicate with the Customer Service Manager regarding technical issues or low cash levels in the self-service area.
  • Return Scan & Go scanners to their designated location after use.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
