About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Video Editor to join our team at Mediabistro. As a key member of our content creation team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that engages and inspires our audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and television.
  • Collaborate with creative teams, including writers, producers, and designers, to develop video concepts and implement them.
  • Incorporate feedback from producers and creatives and make necessary revisions to ensure the final product meets their expectations.
  • Ensure video content aligns with brand guidelines and visual standards.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in video editing, ideally in a senior role.
  • Experience cutting picture, sound, and music within a commercial environment.
  • Motion graphic skills.
  • Deep passion and insight into the latest trends, techniques, and social networks.
  • Solution-focused with the ability to dive technically deep while still focused on deadlines.
  • Storytelling editing skills.
  • Experience with multiple formats and ability to identify graphical and editorial trends.
  • Sets clear priorities to complete work tasks, allocating resources efficiently.
  • Deep knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and solid knowledge of Creative Suite.
  • Solid knowledge of computers and video post technology, pipelines, and workflows.
