Position Overview

Meta Connections Inc. is seeking a dedicated Network Support Technician to enhance our network operations. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance of our network systems.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered
Work Environment
  • Flexibility to relocate as needed
  • Work within a consulting environment
  • Engagement with an Internet Service Provider (ISP)
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and implement computer hardware, networking software, and operating systems
  • Deliver technical support and troubleshooting for network users
  • Conduct routine network operations and maintain documentation
  • Execute data backup and recovery strategies
  • Establish local area networks and Internet connections
  • Update web pages, applets, and scripts as necessary
  • Address inquiries from website visitors and designers
  • Oversee web server backup and recovery tasks
  • Supervise a small technical team
Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage a team of 1 to 2 technical staff members.

Technical Proficiency

Familiarity with desktop applications is essential.
