IT and OT Services Specialist

The Specialist IT and OT Services contributes to the management and support of on-site operational technology and systems, including Site operations and Technology Remote Operating Systems (TROC).
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Deliver effective and timely responses to service requests, resolve incidents/problems and manage the Technology service catalogue.
- Build and deploy packages for installation, manage patching, troubleshoot end-user devices, and conduct low-level asset and inventory management.
- Translate user and business requirements into secure, scalable and resilient infrastructure solution architecture that meets current and forecasted demand levels.
- Develop safety requirements specifications, define and implement safety lifecycle management strategies and advise on systems safety issues.
- Determine the underlying cause of problems and evaluate multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex problems.
- Identify, engage and manage a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and assess risks, make risk informed decisions, use BHP's risk management framework and build a risk aware culture to support safe and productive performance outcomes.
- Resolve performance issues and incidents, upgrade infrastructure assets, conduct asset and inventory management.
This position will be based at the Jansen Mine Site, where you will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with a team of professionals.

About YouTo be considered, you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in engineering, IT or Trade equivalent.
- IT Service Management Framework (ITIL Foundation).
- Experience with SAP Work Management & related technology systems.
- Experience with Service Now (SNoW) Process & Systems.
- Experience working in an Operational Environment as an IT/OT Technician.
- Ability to follow and support the improvement of defined process.
