Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

Vibrant Logistics Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordination and Planning: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and conduct performance reviews for warehouse staff.
  • Inventory Control: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, and establish work schedules and procedures to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 people and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with colleagues and management to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
