About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Kingsway Buffet. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our customers, while also ensuring that our dishes are visually appealing and of the highest quality.

Food Preparation and Presentation

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Staff Training and Supervision

Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties to the highest standards.

Cleanliness and Safety

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is necessary.

Work Setting

This role is based in a fast-paced restaurant environment, where attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
