Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market and business research utilizing various online resources, directories, and databases.
- Support the creation of persuasive pitch presentations aimed at potential clients.
- Develop, update, and manage financial and valuation models using MS Excel.
- Assist in gathering data, performing analysis, and drafting Information Memoranda for mergers, acquisitions, and financing projects.
- Utilize analytical skills to analyze client data and produce insightful reports.
- Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to achieve outstanding client service outcomes.
- Identify prospective client sources and competitive markets, relaying findings to the President of Corporate Finance.
- Source relevant research materials applicable to client businesses, including industry reports, government publications, and customer interviews.
- Stay informed about market trends to evaluate current strategies and compare research findings.
- Review and adapt research methodologies as necessary to enhance effectiveness.
- Contribute to the development of both qualitative and quantitative analyses derived from research data.
- Summarize market and industry trends, providing broad overviews and general conclusions.
- Prepare technical analyses, including projections, forecasts, and models.
- Identify competitive challenges and performance metrics at both macro and micro levels specific to target markets.
- Produce, design, and compile clear and concise reports and communications.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service, responding to client needs and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline with proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements.
- Candidates pursuing or intending to pursue CPA, CFA, or CBV credentials are encouraged.
- Experience in a professional services environment is advantageous.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in financial analysis and modeling is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
