Plan for Changes to Schedules and PoliciesAnticipate and plan for changes to schedules and policies to ensure seamless implementation and minimal impact on operations.
Prepare Reports for Senior ManagementCompile and present regular reports to senior management on departmental performance, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
Recruit and Supervise StaffRecruit, train, and supervise a team of freight forwarding professionals to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Manage Finances or BudgetOversee the financial management of the department, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Ensure Transport Compliance with RegulationsEnsure that all transportation activities are compliant with relevant regulations and laws.
Establish and Implement Policies and StandardsDevelop and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods to ensure consistency and quality.
Oversee Scheduling and Dispatching of Vehicles and GoodsCoordinate the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
Organize and Maintain InventoryManage and maintain inventory levels to ensure that goods are available when needed and that storage capacity is optimized.
Requirements- Education
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, transportation, or business administration.
ExperienceAt least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role, preferably in the freight forwarding industry.
