About the Role

RUTHERKIM CLEANING CORP. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our office building, commercial spaces, and recreational facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Office building, commercial building, recreational facility/institution, hospital/medical facility or clinic, school or educational institution/establishment, warehouse, day spa.
  • Transportation: Vehicle supplied by employer, willing to travel regularly, valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, excellent oral communication, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, honesty.
