Senior Software Engineer for APIs and Integrations

Sentry is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the Ecosystem team, responsible for maintaining core integrations and providing an integration platform for new apps. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience building user-facing web applications and APIs, with a strong background in backend frameworks and languages, particularly Django.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable interfaces for SaaS apps, such as Slack, Discord, and Microsoft Teams.
- Build and maintain features and integrations with other SaaS services using Django and React.
- Research and implement best practices for API tooling and related services.
- Contribute to the engineering goals of the team and advocate for ideas to be included in the product roadmap.
- Review code and mentor less-experienced engineers.
- 8+ years of experience building user-facing web applications and APIs.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field, and/or relevant experience.
- Strong background in backend frameworks and languages, particularly Django.
- Experience with frontend frameworks and languages.
- Experience leading engineering teams or complex technical projects.
The base salary range for this position is $189,000 to $214,000 CAD. A successful candidate's actual base salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including work location, education, and experience. Sentry offers a competitive benefits package, including incentive compensation, equity grants, paid time off, and group health insurance coverage.
