We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist II to join our team at NL Health Services. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions for preschool children with developmental and behavioral concerns.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop treatment plans for children with developmental and behavioral disorders
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to children and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement programs in Developmental Psychology
- Participate in health promotion activities and community outreach initiatives
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with families, caregivers, and other stakeholders
- Master's Degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology from an accredited university
- License and registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador Psychology Board
- Experience in assessment and intervention techniques in child development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 75-hour biweekly schedule. Flexible hours may be required. The successful candidate will be required to work in a community-based setting.
