Job Title: Construction Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Precision General Construction Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and performing routine maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, and other construction equipment
  • Mixing and pouring concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
  • Paving and raking asphalt
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Performing routine maintenance work
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a variety of outdoor environments, including urban areas, and will be exposed to noise, dust, and other hazards.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 37.5 hours per week.
