Job Summary:

PDI is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Tanker Wash Bay Operator. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our wash bay facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Wash and maintain equipment to the highest standards, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Operate various mechanical devices, including pressure washers, to ensure effective cleaning and maintenance.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including replacing mud flaps and painting equipment.
  • Contribute to a clean and organized work environment by maintaining the wash bay area and performing yard duties.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating a shunt truck on site (considered an asset).
  • Experience moving trailers (considered an asset).
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to tolerate all types of weather and physical demands of the position.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to varying weather conditions. A high level of physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment is essential.
