The ideal candidate will be tasked with spearheading fleet sales initiatives while also overseeing the daily operations and coordination of our vehicle fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Sales:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business avenues within the fleet sector, focusing on commercial, governmental, and corporate clients.
- Client Engagement: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with both potential and existing clients, comprehending their requirements and ensuring satisfaction.
- Sales Strategy: Formulate and execute effective sales strategies aimed at achieving or surpassing revenue objectives.
- Proposal and Contract Negotiation: Design and present tailored fleet solutions to clients, negotiate contract stipulations, and finalize sales agreements.
- Market Research: Remain updated on industry trends, competitor actions, and market possibilities to refine sales strategies accordingly.
Fleet Coordination:
- Fleet Management: Supervise the allocation, utilization, and disposal of fleet vehicles, ensuring maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintenance Coordination: Organize and oversee vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to keep the fleet in optimal condition.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all fleet operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including vehicle registration, insurance, and safety standards. Maintain precise records of fleet inventory and activities.
- Vendor Relations: Manage partnerships with service providers, vendors, and suppliers to guarantee quality and timely services.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on fleet performance, utilization, sales metrics, and cost analysis.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Sales, or a related discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in fleet sales, fleet management, or a related area.
Skills:
- Proven sales and negotiation abilities with a history of meeting targets.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with fleet management principles and best practices.
- Proficient in CRM software, fleet management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
