This position involves working with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure precise and safe radiation therapy services for patients in the Central East Cancer Program.
Key Responsibilities:- Equipment Testing and Calibration: Conduct thorough testing and calibration of radiation treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Technical Guidance: Provide expert technical guidance to medical staff on treatment techniques and dosimetry, ensuring accurate and effective radiation therapy delivery.
- Teaching and Mentoring: Teach and mentor physics residents and other healthcare professionals on radiation therapy techniques and best practices.
- Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Medical Physics or a related field.
- Residency Program: Completion of a residency program in Radiation Oncology Physics.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to safety and patient care.
