Job Title: Construction Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Manny Construction Ltd. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to construction, including loading and unloading materials, operating mobile and tower cranes, and cleaning and lubricating equipment. You will also be involved in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, as well as mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Operating mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials
  • Cleaning and lubricating cranes and equipment
  • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Performing routine maintenance work
  • Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Directing traffic at or near construction sites
Requirements:
  • Will train
  • Ability to work outdoors and at heights
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour
