Key Responsibilities

The Plumber will be responsible for:

  • Installing plumbing fixtures and systems for domestic, commercial, or industrial use.
  • Repairing plumbing fixtures and systems across various settings.
  • Interpreting blueprints and specifications to determine plumbing system layouts.
  • Preparing estimates and quotations for plumbing projects.
  • Locating and marking positions for pipe connections and fixtures.
  • Cutting openings in walls and floors for pipe installations.
  • Connecting pipes using various methods including soldering and welding.
  • Testing plumbing systems for leaks using pressure gauges.
  • Determining requirements for piping systems and sizing.
  • Estimating costs and materials needed for projects.
  • Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes as required.
Certifications and Licenses

Applicants must hold a Plumber Trade Certification.

Safety and Security
  • Must be bondable.
  • Basic security clearance is required.
Transportation Requirements
  • A vehicle will be provided by the employer.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
Tools and Equipment

Candidates are expected to have their own tools, including:

  • Standard plumbing tools
  • Steel-toed safety boots
