Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Farm Labourer to assist in the daily operations of our farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including applying fertilizers, cleaning crops, and harvesting fruits and vegetables.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply fertilizers to crops to promote healthy growth
  • Clean and maintain the greenhouse and surrounding areas
  • Harvest fruits and vegetables, including cucumbers
  • Perform general farm duties, including operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
  • Assist in grafting activities and transplanting seedlings or rooted cuttings
  • Report signs of insect or disease damage to crops
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Team player with strong work ethic
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be working in a fruit and vegetable combination farming environment, with exposure to heights, hot and cold temperatures, and noisy conditions.
