About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Mucho Burrito. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality food and service.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and specials that meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
- Kitchen Operations: Oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Staff Management: Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
- Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Education: College diploma or equivalent in culinary arts or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a chef or kitchen manager in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Skills: Excellent culinary skills, leadership and management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
