Job Summary

Nu Way Auto is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Locate faults and malfunctions in automotive systems, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Review Work Orders: Analyze and understand work orders to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Adjust, Repair, or Replace Parts and Components: Use your technical skills to diagnose and repair issues with automotive systems.
  • Provide Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Participate in Apprenticeship Training: Develop your skills and knowledge through level one apprenticeship training.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid driver's licence.
  • Steel-Toed Safety Boots: Wear steel-toed safety boots as required.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess accurate, client-focused, dependable, judgemental, reliable, and team-player qualities.
