About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at STAR WORLD RENOVATION INC. as a key member of our interior and exterior painting team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings to create a seamless look.
  • Mix paint to the desired color and texture, taking into account the specific requirements of each project.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise fit.
  • Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings, providing expert recommendations.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging to ensure safe access to high areas.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, meeting the highest standards of quality.
  • Estimate costs and materials for each project, ensuring accurate budgeting.
Work Environment

As a Painter at STAR WORLD RENOVATION INC., you will work in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial properties. You will be required to work outdoors and in different weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling are essential physical capabilities for this role.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is required.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Permanent employment with a 35-hour workweek is offered.
  • English is the primary language of communication in this role.
