Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a skilled General Internist with a cardiology subspecialty to join our Internal Medicine group at St Martha's Regional Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
  • Participate in teaching and education of residents and fellows

Work Environment

Our hospital offers a range of diagnostic and therapeutic services, including echocardiography, exercise stress testing, and endoscopy. We have a Cardiac Rehab Clinic managed by a Nurse Practitioner and physiotherapist, and a teaching site for Dalhousie University Medical School's Internal Medicine Program.

Requirements
  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or eligibility to take the Fellowship Exam in Internal Medicine
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in internal medicine and cardiology
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
