Role OverviewWe are seeking an exceptional Senior Investment Analyst to join our Public Markets team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and monitoring of our Absolute Return Strategy investment portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our investment team to develop and monitor our Absolute Return Strategy investment portfolio, focusing on hedge fund equity and managed futures strategies.
- Participate in manager review and due diligence meetings to ensure the highest standards of investment performance.
- Contribute to the origination of new investment managers and strategies within our universe of hedge fund equity and managed futures.
- Perform in-depth quantitative analysis on investment managers to inform portfolio construction and manager evaluation.
- Provide strategic recommendations to enhance the portfolio management of our Absolute Return Strategy program.
- Support our broader Public Markets team across various investment strategies, including public equity, credit, and more.
- Nurture relationships with external investment managers and providers to promote Accoravillage's reputation as a respected employer and fiduciary.
- Contribute to the development of infrastructure and tools necessary for external manager analysis and monitoring, and portfolio management.
- Collaborate with our Responsible Investment group to integrate and implement our Responsible Investment strategy with external managers.
- Contribute to Accoravillage's reputation as a respected employer, partner, and fiduciary.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Public Markets interns, when applicable.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Business, or other related quantitative discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, asset management, hedge funds, pension plans, or fund-of-funds.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- CFA, CAIA, or other relevant professional designations are an asset.
- A passion for investment markets and hedge fund strategies.
- An inquisitive and critical thinking approach, with a strong ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting high performance standards and maintaining a calm demeanor.
- Alignment with Accoravillage's commitment to Responsible Investing, ESG, and climate change.
