Position Overview

The Senior Business Analyst role is centered around ensuring client satisfaction, showcasing exceptional interpersonal skills, and possessing a comprehensive grasp of both the project lifecycle and software development processes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee projects from a Solution Delivery perspective, guiding them from requirements gathering through design to delivery in an Agile environment.
  • Assist the Project Manager in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain precise User Stories and Business Requirements with clear User Acceptance criteria for developers and testers.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and project teams to assess the business value of User Stories and prioritize them for execution.
  • Present solutions and options to business stakeholders effectively.
  • Collaborate with the development team during implementation to clarify and refine User Stories.
  • Work closely with the strategy team and Technology Architect.
  • Generate supporting technical documentation including matrices, calculations, and flow diagrams.
  • Serve as a senior consultant in areas of domain expertise, guiding technology and solution choices.
  • Direct development methodologies and provide technical leadership within the team.
  • Lead complex projects from conception to implementation, engaging with internal architects and third-party systems integrators.
  • Conduct daily troubleshooting and support for production systems.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Over 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in large-scale technology projects, particularly in Sales and Customer Service within the Manufacturing sector.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing large and medium-sized projects involving both internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficient in business process flows and modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in developing reporting analytics.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical abilities.
  • Capability to present complex information clearly to various organizational levels.
  • Experienced in SDLC methodologies, managing projects from Requirements Gathering to Post Live Support.
  • Familiarity with implementing Solution architecture for Ecommerce systems.
  • Client-facing experience to deliver solution overviews and training.
  • Strong communication skills for documentation and client sessions.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and simplify complex situations.
  • Solid presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Experience working with executive-level staff.
  • Proficient with collaboration tools such as JIRA or Trello.
  • University degree required; PMI-PBA certification is a plus.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

  • Experience with large ERP applications; Oracle JDE is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
  • Experience with mobile apps and responsive design to enhance client brands.
  • Successful delivery of Ecommerce and Digital Marketing projects.
  • Familiarity with integration platforms and data modeling.
  • Basic knowledge of CSS/HTML/JavaScript is beneficial.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Occasional travel within North America and to select European locations may be necessary.
