Job Title: Kitchen Helper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at 9469-8206 Quéebec inc. in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Kitchen Helper will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Load buspans and trays.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Scour pots and pans.
  • Package take-out food.
  • Portion and wrap foods.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Sharpen kitchen knives.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
Working Conditions:

The Kitchen Helper will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of experienced staff. The work schedule will be 35 to 50 hours per week, with occasional overtime required.
