We are in search of a versatile web engineer. As a key contributor to our online presence, you will play a vital role in shaping the technical foundations of our various platforms, which serve a wide array of users.

Here are some of the technologies we utilize: .NET for our core applications, JavaScript frameworks for dynamic interfaces, and various content management systems for our marketing initiatives. Familiarity with version control systems and cloud services is certainly advantageous for this position. Experience in DevOps practices is also a plus.

The team operates in an Agile framework, utilizing project management tools for daily operations.

As the server-side web engineer in our specialized team, you will be responsible for enhancing our digital assets with innovative and effective functionalities.

Here is what a typical day in this role might entail:

  1. Begin your day with a team stand-up meeting to review the progress of ongoing projects.
  2. Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  3. Develop secure and efficient code while architecting robust applications.
  4. Conduct quality assurance, troubleshooting, and debugging for features scheduled for deployment.
  5. Maintain and optimize database performance.
  6. Prepare insights and recommendations for enhancing the performance of recently implemented features.

Ideally, you will possess:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in server-side development.
  • A strong passion for web engineering.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and PHP.
  • Experience with .NET and familiarity with MVC design principles.
  • Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with content management systems; familiarity with Sitecore is a significant advantage.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the web development lifecycle (design, development, and deployment).
