Position Overview:

We are looking for a project/program management professional with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in PMO or Program/Portfolio Management within the Technology, Banking, or Consultancy sectors.

In this dynamic environment, the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines is essential. A pragmatic approach, attention to detail, and strong oral and written communication skills are required to succeed in this role.

Experience in documentation preparation and review, along with a solid understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile & Iterative), is necessary.



Context:

The Equities Technology team is dedicated to collaborating with our Equities Business to develop innovative solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
This role encompasses the following duties:
- Establish best practices and Client-approved PPM procedures at the organizational PMO level.
- Ensure project delivery aligns with Client's SDLC procedures, including regulatory and compliance mandates.
- Manage release cycles, document projects, and handle administrative tasks related to projects.
- Coordinate projects across various areas within the Equities program/project portfolio.
- Support technology leads and project managers in overseeing a large portfolio of programs and projects.
- Promote a culture of SDLC best practices within the technology group.
- Maintain existing departmental and Project Office policies and procedures.
- Continuously enhance project methodologies, provide mentoring and training to other PMs, and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Organize and facilitate project closure and conduct benefit analysis post-project.
- Collaborate with various teams, providing insightful financial and business analyses, and develop senior management reports to define and track key operational/program metrics.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills for effective reporting and documentation, including dashboards and scorecards.
- Communicate issues, risks, and progress on complex processes to multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Work independently, multitask across several concurrent projects, and demonstrate confidence in structuring, summarizing, defending, and presenting recommendations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience with PMP or similar certification; 7+ years without certification.

Skills:
- Expert-level experience with SDLC processes, Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficient in managing projects, tasks, workflows, and reporting in Jira.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as PTS, Planview, Clarity, etc.
- Strong analytical and data mining skills.
- Excellent listening, presentation, communication, and influencing skills; able to articulate confidently to senior management.
- Strong team player with a keen attention to detail in management reporting and data analysis.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and exhibits thought leadership and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with large project management data sets to extract insights.
- PMP / CAPM certification.
- Agile certification.
