We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Harbour Air Aerospace Services LTD. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Maintain Aircraft Systems: Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft to ensure they meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety.
- Repair and Overhaul Aircraft Systems: Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical, or hydraulic systems, including installing or modifying aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel, and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain Detailed Records: Maintain detailed repair, inspection, and certification records and reports.
- Inspect Work of Other Mechanics: Inspect the work of aircraft mechanics performing modification of aircraft and aircraft mechanical systems to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
- Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform and document routine maintenance tasks.
- Interpret Technical Instructions: Interpret blueprints, specifications, standards, and written technical instructions.
- Certifications and Licenses: Hold an AME «M» Licence - Aircraft.
- Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Office.
- Aircraft Experience: Experience with small piston airplanes, small piston helicopters, and small turboprops.
- Structural Repair Experience: Experience with aircraft sheet metal structures.
- Industry Experience: Experience in commercial air carrier and repair and overhaul facility settings.
- Mechanical Maintenance and Repair Specialization: Experience in aircraft maintenance, piston engines, propulsion - propellers, and turbine engines.
- Security and Safety: Hold an airport security clearance.
- Transportation and Travel: Hold a valid driver's licence and own transportation.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding work environment requiring handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail.
- Relocation Costs Covered: Relocation costs covered by employer.
