Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

VON Canada (Victorian Order of Nurses) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care to clients in their homes and communities.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate LPN to provide nursing care to clients in their homes and communities. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to clients in their homes and communities, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Document client care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in Practical Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Current registration with the relevant provincial nursing regulatory body.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
