About the Role
Clearpath Robotics is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and maintaining our development operations experience, ensuring a seamless and reliable software delivery lifecycle.
As a key member of the DevOps team, your responsibilities will encompass the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our CI/CD systems and productivity tooling. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to identify requirements, optimize build pipelines, and enhance infrastructure capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, architect, and lead the development and enhancement of robust CI/CD systems and productivity tools.
- Integrate and onboard new productivity tools to elevate the developer experience.
- Collaborate with the team to manage and refine our Kubernetes cluster, deploying and maintaining build and productivity tools within it.
- Manage and provide services on AWS, leveraging infrastructure as code principles.
- Work closely with engineering teams to determine new requirements and identify gaps in build pipelines and infrastructure tooling.
- Participate in the DevOps infrastructure support rotation, monitoring the health of our infrastructure and services.
- Contribute to improving observability for our build infrastructure.
- Engage in incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution of issues.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code and automate the deployment of both infrastructure and applications.
- Actively secure and remediate vulnerabilities within our build infrastructure and tooling.
- Document DevOps processes, standards, and contribute to the creation of runbooks.
- Mentor junior team members on design best practices and conduct code reviews.

Required Skills & Experience:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or a related field with 10+ years of experience.
- Hands-on experience as a DevOps/SRE, with significant focus on build and release engineering.
- Expertise in developing complex multi-stage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Gitlab-CI across multiple teams.
- Strong experience in building Infrastructure as Code and self-serve pipelines using a GitOps model.
- Experience with AWS, including provisioning and managing AWS services.
- Production-level experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and managing Kubernetes clusters.
- Proficiency in provisioning/orchestration tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Helm.
- Familiarity with observability stacks like Grafana, Prometheus, and Elasticsearch.
- Comfort with Linux, network troubleshooting, and basic administration tasks.
- Experience developing code in languages relevant to our infrastructure (e.g., Python, Bash).
