Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Community Rehabilitation Specialist

Job Summary:

SMART Rehabilitation Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Community Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to clients in the Kamloops region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical and functional abilities to develop personalized rehabilitation plans.
  • Implement and evaluate treatment plans to ensure optimal client outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on adaptive equipment, home safety, and disease management.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • 1 year of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a community rehabilitation setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
