Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing abilities and develop treatment plans to improve or restore communication and swallowing functions.
  • Participate in clinical teaching and provide guidance to students and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct assessments and interventions to identify and address communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing functions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current membership in good standing with the Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with adult populations with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
