Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team at PIU Supply Chain Management as a Logistics Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Method of Shipment: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify the most efficient and cost-effective methods of shipping goods.
  • Schedule Distribution of Goods: Plan and coordinate the timely delivery of goods to our customers and partners.
  • Schedule Transportation Conveyances: Arrange for the transportation of goods via various modes, including trucks, trains, and planes.
  • Assemble Containers and Crates: Ensure that all goods are properly packaged and prepared for shipment.
  • Maintain Internal Record-Keeping System: Accurately track and record all shipments, including inventory levels and delivery status.
  • Route Goods to Appropriate Storage Areas: Ensure that all goods are stored in a secure and organized manner within our warehouse.
  • Pack Goods to be Shipped: Prepare goods for shipment by packing and labeling them correctly.
  • Unpack Goods Received: Receive and inspect all incoming goods to ensure they are in good condition.
  • Oversee Loading and Unloading of Goods: Supervise the loading and unloading of goods from vehicles and equipment.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid driver's licence to operate company vehicles.
  • Work Term: Permanent: Commit to a permanent role within our organization.
  • Work Language: English: Communicate effectively in English with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week: Work a standard 40-hour week, with occasional overtime as required.
