About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Scan Items: Effectively scan products, manage inventory, and maintain a high level of accuracy in product pricing and scanning.
  • Tabulate Total Payment: Calculate and collect payment from customers, handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Receive Payment: Process customer payments, handle returns and exchanges, and maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure situations.
  • Provide Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor Entrances and Exits: Maintain a high level of awareness of store security, monitor entrances and exits, and request proof of payment when necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail sales experience.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain attention to detail, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Language and Hours

We are an English-speaking work environment and require our employees to be fluent in English. The work hours are 35 hours per week, with a regular schedule of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
